Bus service:
The Hampton Inn by Hilton is located on two bus routes that go directly to campus (“Campus” and “College”).

The Comfort Inn is also located on the bus routes, but you will need to transfer downtown in order to get to campus.

469-B Couchie Memorial Drive, North Bay. NOTE: both Mapquest and Google maps are WRONG. Please use this provided map and directions.
From campus take College Drive to Gormanville Rd South. Turn right on Main Street West. Couchie Memorial Drive is on your left just after you pass St. Joseph's Motherhouse and cross a creek. If you hit Hwy 17, you've gone too far.
Saturday morning shuttle bus to Nbisiing Secondary Schools
A shuttle bus on Saturday morning to Nbisiing Secondary School will do a pick up at the Hampton Inn by Hilton, the Comfort Inn on O’Brien and Founders' House (lower residence) at 8:30 am. The return ride is to upper campus only.

We have blocked off rooms at the following two hotels at a special rate. When booking, please advise you are with the Nipissing University conference. The deadline for booking your room at the special rates is February 2, 2010.

Two Queen beds, breakfast included for $125.00 per night. It is located less than 2 km from campus, and there two direct bus routes that can take you from the hotel to campus.
Comfort Inn, 1200 O’Brien Street, North Bay, ON
1 Queen or Two Double beds, breakfast included for $89.99/night. It is located less than 3 km from the campus but there is no direct bus route to the campus.

Travelling to North Bay
Getting here by car: We are 4 hours west of Ottawa and 3.5 hours north of Toronto.

Parking is available on campus.
Getting here by plane: Less than 10 minutes from Nipissing University, North Bay's Jack Garland Airport is a thoroughly modern facility with daily flights to Toronto and Ottawa.
Regular flights into and out-of Jack Garland Airport are provided by: Air Canada Jazz, Bearskin Airlines, and Voyageur Airways.
Getting here by train (note: passenger trains must cede to freight trains: you may experience long delays)
Less than 15 minutes from Nipissing University, North Bay's O.N.T.C. Train Station provides a clean and welcoming environment that is open 24 hour-a-day. There are daily trips to Toronto (in the South) and Cochrane (in the North) and all major points in-between.
Regular trips into and out-of the station are provided by Ontario Northland.
Getting here by bus: Bus passenger service is offered by Greyhound and Ontario Northland. The bus station is located less than 15 minutes from Nipissing University (shared with train station)
